Pastoral Counseling Services
What is Pastoral Counseling? Pastoral Counseling involves taking interpersonal skills that pastors use and applying them to counseling. Pastoral Counseling involves treating each person with respect and compassion, regardless of religious affiliation. Spiritual contemplation might be an aspect of Pastoral Counseling you seek. If you choose to not speak at all about your spiritual beliefs, that’s okay, too. Know that you will be valued as a whole person when working with me and that together, we can work to achieve your therapeutic goals.

As a trained Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have the experience and knowledge necessary to help you achieve your desired personal outcomes.
My qualifications indicate that I’m well suited for working with you to address a wide range of personal and emotional issues:
—Counseling Individuals (Age 11+), Couples and Families
—Working with people who identify as having Misophonia, a sound sensitivity condition from which I also suffer; and
—Counseling those who are searching for spiritual meaning in their lives and wish to move beyond mere existence in a chaotic universe.
I strongly believe in the Carl Rogers Person-Centered Approach to Counseling and believe that by fully attending to the Client’s presence, a foundation of rapport and respect can be built upon which clinical goals can be pursued.
